Best Donair

The name fits perfectly. I’ve been coming here for years, it’s the best prices, best bang for your buck, and best service when it comes to donairs in Edmonton. They also due burger combos, shawarma, falafel, poutine, kids meals and have whatever drink you would want. Love this place.

I paid five extra dollars on the jumbo Donair for extra meat a few times now and I’ve noticed they’re gradually getting smaller and smaller and tonight this is what I received for $22..

One of the best chicken shawarma’s I’ve ever had! My fiancé & I eat here regularly. We come here at least once a week. We used to live right behind Best which is what intrigued us to try it, now, we travel to Jasper Gates just to get their yummy shawarmas. We usually get our shawarmas with tzatziki, garlic & sweet sauce. Thee BEST! Outstanding quick service and yummy food. Nice seating area for dining in. I highly recommend.

I used to be a big fan of this donair shop but the quality has just gone down since I was here last. I ordered takeout and they made everything I asked but the whole experience was frustrating. When I ordered, I emphasized the order to be ready by a certain time. The cook made the order early and it was sitting for 30 mins before I came to pick it up. And of course it sitting for 30 mins made it super soggy and cold. I asked for drinks, and when I came to pick them up, they did not have the ones I wanted. I had to go on uber support to request a refund for them. I also asked for the donair to be crispy, and it was anything but that. I used to come to this place often but after this, i don’t think I’ll be here again. Jerusalem shawarma is much better quality and not as frustrating to order from.
