DK Donair Factory & Restaurant

It's not often you find a donair that is so clearly different from a standard, canadian donair. The meat is far less greasy, and the house-made bread has a light, yet durable texture, that maintains its integrity despite a generous dose of tzatziki, and a selection of condiments that includes items that are seldom found in similar restaurants in canada. The extremely affordable price seems impossible, given the high level of quality, and quick and efficient service. Truly an absolute gem, that is well worth the trip. 11/10.

DK Donair serves a German-style donair, so it's quite a bit different from the Canadian version most of us grew up with. The bread! I love the bread! In-house, and it's a soft, raised flatbread. The meat is not as heavily seasoned as a Canadian donair, but it's incredibly juicy with a great texture. All the expected garnish was there for you to choose and adjust. Excellent value too!!! If you're expecting a classic Canadian donair, this isn't it—and that's not a bad thing. Go in expecting to try something different, and you'll probably leave impressed. I'll definitely be back.

The best donair shop I have been to. Great service, quick food, and they make their own meat and bread. Different style than most donair shops in Edmonton. Worth the trip if you are looking for a great donair!

The German style Donair was good it’s a little different than the typical Alberta or Halifax kind but still pretty good. Had the freshest ingredients like lettuce tomato onion etc. They have the wrap style and a fresh baked bread of some sort, tried the bread type it was very good. I’m not sure how to score it as it’s my first German style I’ll give it a 7.9 as it was fresh and not as greasy as the typical Donair. If they amp up the spices a level or 2 it would be great.

If you like european / german style döner kebab this is THE place. They are genuinely authentic to what’s overseas. Very friendly staff, clean, professional. 6/5. Everything in the picture was $15. I could eat this every day and hope to see more locations in edmonton.
