I read some reviews, heard from a friend about this place for fried chicken. I went in to take out a meal for dinner. I was greeted warmly by the staff. I ordered the 10 peice box set that came with 3 sides. The chicken i ordered half regular and half spicy. Sides were: fries, pasta salad (which was delicious) and gravy. All tasty! I didn't mind waiting 20 minutes as everything was cooked fresh. The chicken was still burning hot after I got home which was awesome!! We really loved the chicken, sooo crispy and juicy! We will definitely be ordering again! The store is inside the Super 8, parking is right infront.
We ordered the 15 piece and it was delicious. It was cooked fresh. Took about 15 mins but was worth the wait. Juicy, flavourful and huge pieces. We disk tried the fries, gravy and apple slaw. Everything was very good. The staff were also very kind. Would definitely eat here again.
Clean but slightly out of place clutter in restraunt, coolers with frozen soups so.e of the lid were.swolen off .we had a 3 piece dinner with a chichen sandwich. The chichen sandwich was freshly made.the bun was wrongly matched as the chichen I was able to squeeze a tablespoon or more of liquid out of and the bun was soggy right away, the 3 piece dinner was very hot and a fairsize sides, the chichen had a nice flavor but it could of in my opinion could.of sat for a fast minute and let the deep fry oil drip away, but it didn't take away from the juicy Ness of the chichen the price was fair and I.would eat here again.
Amazing food all around, way better than KFC or Mary Browns. Not quite sure how so many people still support those commercial fast food chains when there's a great local small scale restaurant in town. They have daily specials, chicken is made to order and not sitting under a heat lamp like the commercial restaurants. The wait is never longer than 20-30 minutes even when they're busy, unlike Mary Browns whose wait times exceed and hour and a half sometimes, even on pre-ordered meals with a timed pickup. Once we tried Chcken, we never went back to the other two.
My daughter picked up a 15pc plus 3sides last night for my Bday it was delicious. The chicken pieces were huge, crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside , fries were hot and crispy and the gravy was tasty as well we will definitely be going back the next time the craving hits. If there was any negative it would be there was no breast
