Dogpatch is my favourite brunch spot and one of the few places where I always feel completely safe eating as someone with celiac. Knowing the chef is celiac too makes such a difference — they truly understand food allergies and take them very seriously. I also love how dog-friendly they are. In the summer, when we sit on the patio, they always bring water for me and a water bowl for my dog without even asking, which is such a thoughtful touch 🐾 It’s become our annual birthday tradition because the food, atmosphere, and attention to detail are always so consistently great. Highly recommend 🤍✨
I saw the reviews going down and comparing it to when it first opened and unfortunately i didn’t think it will be that bad. To start the staff greeted us with a huge sigh when we ask for spot in patio, i was like okay understand it might be busy BUT NO… although they were an empty spot the host wanted us to sit inside then she moved us outside very weird.. it took long time for someone to show up and take our drinks order and then even longer for her to come back and ask if we want food? That should be my sign to leave and seeing other tables asking for things that taking long to show. After we order and food took long past 40 minutes, i had the chicken club sandwich and that was the worst chicken in my life! It tastes like uncooked all the way had to send it back.
Went to an amazing breakfast/restaurant called the Dogpatch . The food was really amazing. Everything was spectacular when it came to like seeing pancakes that were homemade and their ham was amazing!!!! And Brooklyn amazing Service with a smile on a face!!
I really want to give this place five stars across the categories but I cannot at this time. Food: my friend ordered the Aussie breakfast and half of the bacon came out charred. I don't know how it could have made it on the plate if anyone, either kitchen or wait staff, were paying attention. I ordered the Irish dish with the potato pancakes. The pancakes were gummy and the toppings could not make it better. I tried to make the best of it but could not finish the third one. Service: The service was acceptable. We did have to wait to be served when we sat down despite the fact that the restaurant, on a Saturday at lunch time, was only half full. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is nice there. It's relaxed and spacious. Give Dogpatch a miss if this is your first time and you have other places in mind.
Such a fantastic experience at Dogpatch! They brought my dog a bowl of fresh water before they even took our drink order, which immediately made us feel welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to say hello to him, making his very first patio experience a positive one. The atmosphere was relaxed, dog-friendly, and we never felt like having him there was an inconvenience. We'll definitely be back, and I'd highly recommend Dogpatch to anyone looking for a place that genuinely welcomes dogs and their people.
