Nero

Went to Nero for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The pictures and artwork throughout the restaurant were so unique and really added to the experience. If you’re planning to go, I definitely recommend making a reservation! We didn’t have one, but thankfully someone cancelled and we were able to get a table. 😭 I have an onion allergy, so dining out can sometimes be a little difficult, but my server was very accommodating and took the time to help me find something I could safely enjoy. I unfortunately forgot their name, but thank you for being so helpful and for double-checking everything for me... I really appreciated it! I ended up getting the pasta, and it was delicious! I was a little sad that I couldn’t try the pizza because that was actually what brought me there in the first place 😭, but the pasta definitely did not disappoint. Hopefully, I can come back another time and find a pizza option that works for me. And the Shirley Temple was SO good... it might honestly be one of the best Shirley Temples I’ve ever had! Overall, I had a really great first experience at Nero. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and very accommodating service. I’ll definitely be back!

You get exactly what you pay for and I am here for it. Our server Rylin was on point to really enhance the experience also. I love my calamari and I was beyond shocked to find the best calamari I have had to date at Nero. It didn’t need to have all the pepper, salt, jalapeño, and junk to make the flavour. It was so tasty that it literally melted in your mouth. The batter was so flaky and light. Unlike most other places you go to that upset your stomach. Unsurpassed this is hands-down the best you’ll find in the city. The drinks were all amazing everybody enjoyed theirs. There was a strong beer ordered at the table as well. That was an 8% and it was really good rather than just an alcohol taste because of the percent. All the pasta and I mean all the pasta was delicious! As was the sea bass. Usually when you go to a restaurant, it’s hit or missed with all the different dishes. I can say this was the opposite experience here as every dish hit delightfully. Again I come back to the calamari because of how good it was, but I guarantee you if you’re not here for the calamari, you will be pleasantly surprised with everything else. We will be back and we are looking forward to it! I am ordering a plate of calamari to myself.

The food was so good! The portions are a decent size, we ended up taking leftovers home. The service was really good, and the atmosphere is really nice. The restaurant is huge with lots of seating options. It’s a got a cute feel, and would be a good spot for a date night. It is definitely on the expensive side though.

The interior is beautiful, the tableware is lovely, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the pasta, pizza, and cocktails—everything was delicious. The octopus was a bit charred, but not tough; it was actually cooked perfectly. We also received a complimentary treat from our waiter, which was a very nice touch. Overall, I recommend this place!

Great birthday dinner! The staff was amazing and sat us right away even though we didn't have a reservation. The decor is beautiful and very cozy with all the candles and chandeliers. We enjoyed the food, but a heads-up: some dishes are quite spicy! Our kids couldn't eat the Margherita pizza because of the kick. Still, a big thank you to the team for being so welcoming!
