Ouzo Taverna

Absolutely fantastic experience at Ouzo Taverna. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The lamb skewers were cooked perfectly, tender and well seasoned, and the rice, potatoes, tzatziki, and Greek salad all complemented the meal perfectly. The hummus and pita were smooth, fresh, and delicious, and the baklava was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time, perfectly flaky, rich, and soaked in just the right amount of syrup. The patio atmosphere was beautiful, especially in the evening sun, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I also want to mention the GM, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond and surprised us with complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made the experience memorable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Greek food, generous hospitality, and a great atmosphere. Easy 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was such an amazing meal! By far some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavourful. Despite the generous portions of carbs and protein, we both felt full yet so light - unlike many restaurants that leave you feeling heavy. An absolute gem on the North side. Staff were incredibly friendly, and the patio is lovely. Highly recommend giving this a try for the best Greek food in the city!

The food is 12/10. We ordered calamari, ouzo shrimp, pita and tzatziki for appetizers. For entree, the lamb chops were sooo good. The rice and potatoes are seasoned to perfection. To finish, we had unreal baklava, best I’ve ever had, thanks to the General Manager, Ross for being so kind and hospitable. If you like Greek food, you need to come to Ouzo Taverna.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday and was surprised to be the only table, this place really is a hidden gem!! We ordered the spartan set menu and it was enough for three of us to share. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the meat as nice and tender. The baklava is a must! Unlike any other baklava I’ve tried before. Service was great as well. If you enjoy Greek food this place is a must try!

Our ‘supper club’ chose Ouzo this month because it’s in the neighbourhood for us all, and we a very nice time! It’s very light and airy when you walk in. The food didn’t take too long to arrive once ordered. Had the chicken souvlaki and the portion size was great! The chicken was tender and juicy, the pita warm and fresh, the tzatziki nice and tangy. If you like Greek food, this place is authentic! Alex was a great waiter, very tentative and always made sure we had what we needed. They gifted us some of their homemade baklava for dessert and it was delicious! Sweet and filled with warm spices. Don’t mind the picture, I was already a skewer and a half a potato in before I remembered to take a photo. The only complaint I have is that there was only ONE OLIVE in my Greek salad!!!!! More olives please!!!! Looking forward to warmer weather when we can go back and sit on the patio!
