Sabor Restaurant

My husband and I dined here last night for the first time and we already can’t wait to come back! The food was packed with flavour the hospitality/service was top notch. Such a nice atmosphere where you can tell that attention to detail is of high importance. I had the Lobster Tagliatelle and my husband had the Chicken & Chorizo Paella. For dessert we each had the Coffee Crunch Cake and it was to die for. Thanks again, we highly recommend!

Visited from Toronto. This is a great restaurant for authentic Portuguese/ Spanish Dishes at a great price. Really enjoyed their scallops, jamon and caldo verde dishes, also have a great selection of drinks. The atmosphere in this restaurant is upscale, however service could have been a bit better. Arriving as soon as they opened, staff seemed very stressed and running around setting up. Not seeming fully prepared even though no one was in the restaurant yet. Overall great place for the food.

Work trip dinner with a colleague, saw Sabor showed up in a few review articles, have to come try. Food was great, love the platter risotto was flavourful, meat cooked to perfection, and they also come with different sauces for different kinds of meat. Definitely elevated the experience Service was top notch, friendly staff, took his time to explain the menu, and check on us regularly Decor was great. Love the ambience

Annie was our server but the rest of the staff also helped to make our evening magical. We were a larger party and came to celebrate my father in law's birthday. The staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. I used to think of Sabor just for date nights, but after this experience I realized it truly is a family restaurant, too. They made our kids feel so special and seen. The food was impeccable, including the kid's pasta- we were both surprised by the quality of the dish! Our parents also enjoyed their meal. We shared the meat and seafood platters and dessert platter, too. Everything was perfect, the cook of the all the meats and seafood were amazing. Dessert selection was wide and had something for everyone. Great evening!! You can tell they care so much, and I can see why this is a long standing institution for downtown dining. Bustling and busy on a Wednesday evening.

Came here for my birthday and the service was amazing, from receiving a birthday card to changing out our plates & cutlery after appetizers. We had the tomato salad, lobster risotto, seafood paella and the octopus. Needless to say, they were all delicious and worth its value. The risotto specifically stood out to me, the texture was perfectly soft and creamy. The seafood also tasted quite fresh, almost forgot I was in Alberta!
