Sopoong - Korean Street Food & Sushi

I tried three things: tteokbokki, bulgogi kimbap and dakgangjeong (crispy, bite sized fried chicken pieces). All three were delicious. The tteokbokki was piled with cheese and it was so incredibly stretchy and helped cool some of the heat. The kimbap tasted fresh and savory-sweet. The dakgangjeong was truly a standout - it was fresh amd crispy, the sauce was delicious and sweet (I had the soy garlic) and the sprinkled sesame seeds added extra flavour and texture. I look forward to the opportunity to order again! Service was excellent, too! I knew i wanted to try the kimbap and I was craving tteokbokki, but he recommended the dakgangjeong as it's apparently very popular. Great choice.

Great customer service and friendly staff! I'm absolutely obsessed with their gimbap... it's fresh, flavorful, and one of the best I've had. Everything we tried was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're looking for good gimbap!

Lovely little Korean street food restaurant here! Was so excited I had to try so many different thing. Everything was super tasty and made with love! Depending on what you order, some items arrive extremely quickly. The family that runs this is super friendly and extremely helpful! Will be back to try all of the menu items! A fun note they have special items that rotate on the regular if you're willing to try them out!

I have yet to dine in house yet but it has become a favourite of mine for delivery. It’s always made quickly so the wait is never long. The California and Avocado rolls are always good. The dakgangjung was delicious too. I think I’ve become obsessed with their stir fried kimchi. Portions are good. Food tastes fresh, and more importantly it’s always great quality every time. I always know it will be a satisfying lunch every time I order. Really happy to stumble across this place. ❤️ Thanks for choosing Sherwood Park to open your restaurant!

We have been very excited about Sopoong's opening. I think we were so curious for a few months already since they put up their brand on their location. We are so happy that it is now officially open, and we get to try it on. As a fan of Korean food, I can say that my cravings were satisfied with our meal. It is my first time trying Odeng, which they call in their menu as "Eomuk Soup." It is so good! And it is really comforting for a cold season. We also got the Bibimbap since that's the item that we are really looking forward to. You will have the option to add egg on Bibimbap, and the one that we got is with fried egg. The spicy red bean paste is served on the side to adjust to personal preference. The Kimbap is also flavorful. We got the Jae Yuk Kimbap, and for the price, it was so generous and good. It is also not too spicy, so don't be scared trying on it if you can't handle heat. I still want to order more, but we are so full already. The portions are so generous for the price point, which is so great since everything is so expensive nowadays. There is nothing to complain about. We were greeted nicely. The food that is supposed to be warm is served perfectly. The place is clean. Service is quick. There is space for parking. It does not even feel that they are newly operating, as it seems that they know what they are doing. We even got a free dessert as their grand opening thank you. I still want to try Japchae, Tteokbokki, Cheese Corn, Korean Fried Chicken, and the Sushis, but that would be for next time. We will be back soon.
