Had an amazing meal at Taste of Pakkuatani! Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chicken karahi was rich, tender, and full of authentic spices. The fish pakora was crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, and the freshly baked naan was soft, warm, and paired perfectly with the curry. The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for delicious halal Pakistani food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be coming back!
We regularly visit Taste of Pakistan with our family, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, full of rich and authentic South Asian flavours. The pakoras are crispy and perfectly spiced, the chicken biryani is flavourful and satisfying, and the halwa puri combo is a must-try on weekends for a comforting breakfast. This past weekend, we ordered takeout and the chicken biryani was accidentally missed. When I called, the owner went above and beyond and personally delivered it to our home. That level of care and customer service is truly rare. It’s this combination of amazing food and genuine hospitality that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!
My first experience with Pakistani food was wonderful! Great service as well. I asked for a spicy dish and was given a great recommendation of the Beef Karahi with chillies. Along side the saffron rice, butter nan, and peach Lassi, the meal was fantastic 😋 Highly recommended and I will be a repeat customer now.
Had a great family lunch at Taste of Pakistan. We tried the chicken handi, beef kebab platter, karahi, Haleem , and jalebi. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The chicken handi and karahi were especially delicious, and the beef kebabs were juicy and well seasoned. The jalebi was perfectly sweet and crispy. Nice atmosphere for families and good customer service too. Definitely a place worth visiting for authentic Pakistani food in Edmonton!
We have been coming here for years and so happy with the new renovations as it has really elevated the atmosphere and visuals of the restaurant to match the amazing taste of the food that has been around for years! There is now a prayer area towards the front of the restaurant as well which is very thoughtful! There are usually 1 or 2 servers and even if it gets busy they do their best to get to everyone as quick as possible. We always love to get the Chicken Tikka platter as you can see in the photo and it comes with so much for just $15! Also recently tried the Chicken Karahi and I must say this is definitely a new favourite! The Karahi is $14 plus you can get 4 pieces of regular naan for $1.99 which is a great price! It’s comparable to the more expensive places we have tried and still tastes authentic while being affordable! Truly truly a gem in Edmonton and we love stopping by here whenever we can!
