10/10 food and amazing service by Manvir. She made sure everything came on time, checked on us multiple times and took great care of us. We are pretty much a regular here because the food & service is better than any Indian restaurant here. Thanks again Manvir!
Today we visited this place and ordered chole bhature and Amritsari kulcha. The food was really yummy 😍. I would definitely suggest everyone visit and try it—you won’t regret it! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very polite and helpful too.
Came here for lunch and we really enjoyed. We tried the Amritsari chole kulche and the butter chicken lunch special. The kulche was quite good and the Chana masala and green sauce were delicious. We like spicy and we asked for spicy for this dish and medium for butter chicken. For us spice level was quite low so if you like it hot maybe ask for extra spicy. The butter chicken lunch special comes with rice, naan and drink which is a good deal. The naan was fantastic and I really enjoyed the sauce. Not too watery and good amount of chicken. As mentioned I did medium but thought it was very mild so will ask for spicier next time. We had been to the other location on 34 Ave but we liked this place better so will be back.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Edmonton, Pakwan Indian Cuisine is a must-visit! Their Amritsari Kulcha is easily one of the best I’ve had. The kulcha is generously sized, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with delicious stuffing. It comes with flavorful chole and fresh onion chutney, which make the meal even better. The Tikki Chaat is also amazing, with great flavor, texture, and just the right amount of spices. A special thanks to Manveer for the excellent service. She was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making sure we had a great dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Pakwan Indian Cuisine to anyone craving authentic Punjabi flavors in Edmonton. Definitely one of the best places for Amritsari Kulcha, and I’ll certainly be back!
I had the butter chicken lunch special which was well priced under $20 with tip. The Naan was good and the chicken was good. The rice needs improvement, but the server said she will pass on the info so next time I return I'll be sure to try the improved rice. Service was fine. Over all 4/5
