We came to Kohsaar Grill to celebrate our son's 16th birthday, and we're so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the BBQ platter and chicken karahi, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. We also tried the Kadak chai and Kashmiri chai to finish our meal, and both were excellent. Our server, Khkula, was very friendly, polite, and professional. She took the time to help us with our order and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Even though it was Canada Day and the restaurant was quite busy, the service was great, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful family dinner, and our son really enjoyed his birthday dinner there. We also really appreciated that the owner, Khalid Aziz, personally visited each table to check on guests and ensure everyone was happy with the service. That thoughtful gesture really stood out to us. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for tasty halal food and great service, this place is well worth a visit!
Had my engagement party there on the second floor, it was amazing. Was able to rearrange and have a little sitting area for ring exchange set up the way we wanted as well without issues. Service was smooth, management was very helpful and nice, food was great, and of course the place is stunning! Would def recommend booking the upper floor for parties of 20-25 people!
Excellent food and a wonderful dining experience! We ordered the Soup of the Day, Mutabbakh, and Paneer Handi, and everything was absolutely delicious. Also we ordered Karak and Kashmiri chai with something as dessert. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful, with unique Pakistani-inspired architecture and decor that made the place feel warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was extremely cosy and warm. The Nihari is one of the best in Edmonton, I had a wonderful experience. I Met the owner Mr. Khalid who took the time out of his busy schedule to ask if we were doing okay and if we needed anything else, very kind. It's a family own business where they make everything with love and care. This resturant never fails and always a fantastic experience.
Went for dinner last month for very first time, Beautifully decorated restaurant and nice traditional touches. We only ordered two dishes, Bihari Kebabs and Roasted Lamb Shanks. Both were delicious. Prices are on higher side. End up paying $116 with tip. We had few side ad well like Partha and tea. Service was top class too. Highly recommended
