I really enjoyed my experience here and had a great time overall. The Greek food was really delicious — very flavorful, fresh, and full of taste. The portion sizes were good as well, which made the meal feel very satisfying. You can tell care goes into the food, and everything I had was genuinely enjoyable. The atmosphere was also amazing and really added to the experience. I loved the décor and paintings on the walls — everything felt very Greek-inspired and authentic, which gave the restaurant a unique charm. The setup of the space was really nice and created a warm, welcoming environment. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better with her welcoming attitude. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back again for both the food and the atmosphere!

The food was okay. Nothing extraordinary in my opinion. My friend and I shared the combo vegetarian platter ($22) and the vegetarian moussaka ($35). It was rated by Tomato Magazine as one of the top 100 things to try in Edmonton. I did not agree with that assessment. It was not bad but not one of the top things in Edmonton. For the place, the food was quite pricy. I would have paid those prices at a fancier place. There was a belly dancer on that night, which added a nice touch. Location is good. Space is plenty. The photos are from all the food that was ordered by the table, not just what I had.

By far one of the best Greek restaurants in Canada (from an European who spent months in Greece). The food was very tasty, the prices really good and the service impeccable. I would recommend it to everyone and we will definitely come back often.

I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful experience we’ve had at Yiannis. I reached out to Tammy to organize a surprise 70th birthday party for my mother. Tammy and Amy were incredibly responsive, thoughtful and helped make every detail perfect. I had a million questions and emails that were answered promptly and professionally. They accommodated every request and truly went above and beyond. Tammy worked with my budget and the food was spectacular. All of our guests were impressed with the food, the service and the atmosphere. The servers were excellent. Quick and efficient with genuine smiles. We have always enjoyed the food at Yiannis but I’ve never attended a large party there. I would not hesitate to plan another with Tammy and the staff. Thank you for helping me make a truly memorable day for my mom!

Good food and great venue, especially the room downstairs. The servers were very attentive, and everything from the appetizers to the main course tasted great. Huge shoutout to the spanakopita, I could not have enough.
