2026 park renewal update: All complete! ⚽ 🏀 🎾 ⚾ 🏃🏻‍♂️Pickleball The only downside is no washroom but there is one going back to the leisure centre. If it gets dark, there are buttons to turn on the lights

Nice place, well organized areas. They even have balls you can borrow using their app.

Please refer to Issac Percy's review. I concur with everything he stated. Definitely need a queue system to keep it fair amongst all users. Specifically, hog it for many hours. Most of them are rude and do not speak English. I also wanted to add that though the surfaces are nice and the courts are well kept, there is no area to wait. They also have weird Gates that you can only get in certain ways to certain courts. The city definitely needs to do something. Something that could be so great is being ruined by being mismanaged.

Awesome courts, but the users are not always great and the city needs more signage for rules. This is related to tennis, I have no experience with the pickleball courts but it's probably similar. The surface is great, there is lighting for dark hours, and ample parking is available, except when there's a soccer game going on at the same time. My only issue with the physical courts is the wind and the fences. There is zero wind protection here, and in some spots the fences are not low enough to prevent balls from rolling underneath them. The tennis courts are in great shape, but the users of them are not the best. There are often private lessons happening here but in my opinion it should not be allowed. There's no posting against it so that's not a big deal, but the city should have signage on these courts for what is/isn't allowed. Furthermore, people do not follow a queue system and do not give up a court within 30 mins when people are waiting. I have had to wait longer than an hour for a court to open up, and have given up a few times. There should be signage stating how this works (like other public courts in the city) but there isn't so no one follows it. There are often groups of people who show up with lawn chairs and stay for multiple hours, even when people are waiting. If they paid the court fees to reserve it, fine. As for waiting, there is no queue since there are three entrances to the courts. So if you show up first and a court becomes available, there's a good chance someone showed up after you who's waiting closer to that court takes it. Usually they're nice about it, but I have had times where they aren't. Signage indicating this would solve those problems. Lastly, even with all of the dedicated pickleball courts available, I have still seen people playing pickleball on the tennis courts. If no one is waiting to play tennis I have no issue with it, but if there are tennis players waiting then they should have priority since there are dedicated courts for pickleball. Once again, there is no signage but there should be. So yeah, CoE please add signage to the court entrances like you do at every other public court. Not sure why this one doesn't have any.

A good place to play tennis and picketball, good court surface. You can play in the evening and at night, there is floodlighting.
