Edmonton City Hall Water Fountain

The water fountain just finished a complete renovation. And it looks great. Some people might not like the change because the old fountain had a wading pool up to the knees and the new is only up to the ankles. So that’s a minor thing as the new fountain is definitely an improvement. Since it was just done the fountain will not be going till spring. August 26, 2021 the fountain looks great. You should come and enjoy it.

This water fountain is very popular with locals, and especially kids. There are a number of water sprouts on each side of the pool, and you can walk inside the pool and experience the water sensation on the site. During summertime, lots of kids play in the pool and cool down.

So pretty! I went there for the Edmonton downtown spark! And my child loved the water! Great place to get out for a while and take pictures!

Oh my what a great place to bring the little ones or just sit & enjoy the water on a hot day in Edmonton downtown core! Tip: bring a towel and bathing suit for your child. They will get very wet! There’s a change room/ bathroom right next to the fountain.
