It’s a beautiful place to skate, especially in the evening with the lights. Great winter atmosphere and a nice spot to enjoy time outside.
The lights weren't on on the trail, it was dark and a bit unsafe this way given it was 7pm early in January. I may try again if I see lights on.
Excellent ice to practice skating on, the oval is nice when they Zamboni it for the speed skaters. And the trail as great as well for some new scenery while skating. There's fire pits located all along the site, looks like a good spot to have a family BBQ.
Large and well kept rink. Beautiful surroundings with ample parking nearby and a new clean facility to change into skates. Be mindful you must bring your own. Massive oval rink and ice pathway with seating area and a few fire pits throughout the area.
Kind of underwhelming after seeing how much praise the skate trail had received. The skating oval is massive, but the “IceWay” leading off of it is a bit…dinky. It is a short out-and-back loop next to the highway, with a small section of coloured lights. Meh 🤷♂️
