Benny's Auto Repair

We ran into a bit of an emergency on a Friday morning and called Benny’s in Spruce Grove to see if they could help as we had lost the brakes on our truck while pulling 40 foot fifth wheel. The lady sounded quite sympathetic after I explained our situation and said she would call me back with an answer as to whether she could get me in after she spoke to one of her text. I had called at 12:30 in the afternoon and did not receive any phone call regarding an answer so I called back at 3:45 and she explained that she got tied up as she had an appointment to go to and completely forgot and that she would call me back with an answer as soon as she could. At 20 after four in the afternoon, she finally called me back to tell me that she could not get me in that I would have to try elsewhere. I could have called other places in the meantime, but I trusted her that she would call me back sooner than me calling her back three hours later. Obviously, she was not as empathetic to my cause that she had led on initially and now we are stuck waiting until Monday morning to try and find some break repair.

I can’t say enough good things about Benny’s Auto Repair. Randy and Kayla are both absolutely fantastic—kind, honest, and incredibly helpful. As a single mom, car issues are stressful, especially when you’re expecting the worst. I brought my van in with what I thought was a serious oil leak and fully expected to be told I needed a very expensive repair. Instead, Randy took the time to thoroughly inspect it and discovered the real issue was simply a seal that had been placed incorrectly during a previous oil change. Not only did he save me hundreds of dollars, he didn’t charge me a dime. That level of honesty and integrity is rare and so appreciated. I will be taking my vehicle to Randy from now on and highly recommend Benny’s Auto Repair to anyone looking for trustworthy, genuine service. Thank you both so much!

Customer service is fantastic and the work is top notch. I have complete peace of mind dropping off my vehicle for servicing. It is great to have a mechanic you can trust!

Great shop and great service. They were very open through out the entirety of my cars repair, keeping me updated step by step and pricing out MULTIPLE different options. They had my cars transmission replaced in no time! The only delays we had were on the warranty companies side waiting for approvals or what ever else. Once the vehicle was ready for pick up they were awesome to deal with and immediately addressed any concerns or questions I had. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for any future repairs.

I have called several times asking for the approximate cost on certain parts. The woman Kayla who answers the phone always sounds annoyed anytime I call. I’m always very polite and communicate clearly what I need. The response I’ve always gotten was “I’m pretty backed up, I’ll call you back with a quote” weeks go by, and I never get that call back, I will even follow up and call back myself checking in, no update. I have tried to give this business multiple tries but I get no where. My grandma has had the same experience and she decided to just show up to the establishment until they gave her a quote. The only reason I’ve tried this place several times is because my step dad goes there, and raves about it. That’s not my experience. I do not appreciate the lack of customer service, and communication I’ve received from Kayla the receptionist.
