Christmas market season in Edmonton is short. Most of the good ones land on two or three weekends between late November and early December, and the dates are announced months ahead. Here is what is confirmed for 2026 so you can plan your gift shopping now.

Every market below is a real 2026 event we checked on the organizer's own site or the local municipal or tourism site. We kept this guide to craft and holiday markets without a drinks focus. Edmonton's biggest outdoor Christmas market features mulled wine, so we left it off. Hours and prices can change, so check the official link before you go.

Christmas market tips for Edmonton

  • Pick a weekday or an evening. The Butterdome Craft Sale and Oddbird both run on Fridays, and they are much calmer than Saturday afternoon.
  • Bring a big bag. Most makers have small paper bags at best, and you will be walking to the car in the cold.
  • Dress for a parking lot walk. Late November in Edmonton can easily sit well below zero.
  • Check the link the morning of. Weather and venue changes do happen, and organizers post updates on their own sites first.
