First and foremost, I want to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to the wonderful chefs and all the kitchen staff! You might remain behind the scenes and unseen by the guests, but you are the ones creating absolute culinary masterpieces. The varenyky (perogies), syrnyky (cottage cheese pancakes), and the Napoleon cake are simply gorgeous — everything is incredibly delicious and made with so much love and skill! As for the atmosphere of the cafe, it is very cozy, welcoming, and designed with great taste. You can truly feel the warmth and hospitality. Creating such incredible food and beautiful aesthetic spaces is just in our Ukrainian blood! I had a fantastic experience here, and I highly recommend this lovely bakery to everyone. 👌🏼
Absolutely amazing! It’s so special to find authentic food from our home cuisine here in Canada, especially when it tastes this good. The varenyky were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything felt homemade and made with love. Great atmosphere and wonderful food. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️
We went to Malina cafe today and we were very happy with the service, the food was so very good. High quality meals and reasonable prices. The savoury crepes and the potatoes are instant favourites. The staff are very kind and attentive. We will definitely be visiting more. I brought home Tiramisu cake for dessert tonight. Can’t wait to try it!
This is exactly what happens at Malina Bakery when you stop by for “just a coffee” ☕️😄 First, it’s coffee. Then it’s borsch and syrnyky. And somehow, one more coffee finds its way to the table! Thank you, guys — you’re amazing. Everything is always so fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay a little longer. If you haven’t been to Malina Bakery yet, you should definitely check it out. They have three locations, so there’s no excuse not to visit! Highly recommended ❤️
I traveled from Toronto towards Jasper and stopped here after leaving the airport. I made it a point to write this review to show how much I loved it here. It made the whole trip even better! I had to stop by again on my way back to the airport. Everything is so authentic and delicious! What an oasis on this city! My favourite were the Pierogi’s and the cottage pancakes (on the pictures). I also had an apple pastry and a chicken pastry from the counter display case.
