Grabbed a table with a couple friends last Friday evening and the honey lavender latte was so good we ended up ordering a second round. The space has this warm, low key vibe with big windows looking out onto the street that made it easy to just sit and talk for hours. Staff were genuinely friendly and even walked us through the different roasts they had on rotation that week. Parking on the side street was surprisingly easy to find too, which made the whole night even better.

Transcend has very good coffee and hot chocolate. Located inside the Richie Market, it’s basically a takeaway outlet since there’s very limited seating available inside the market. Transcend does not have its own seating area but there is a bit of a stand up counter in front of their kiosk. The staff that served us were efficient and friendly. We visited on a weekday and there was ample free parking available in the lot across from the market. On weekends, parking may be more of a challenge.

We stopped in for a quick sit down coffee & hot chocolate. Staff were friendly. Drinks were good! Seating area is nice. It was a nice place to relax and have a beverage.

I recently moved across the alley and have been wanting to try. We knew they were about to close but still wanted to try. We got the croissant and the pain au chocolate. They were so flaky and so fresh it was like they were just baked. And was very excited to see they had my fave Saskatoon Lemonade. Looking forward to coming back in the morning and starting our day with some yummy treats.

So i am still Very disappointed in the cost to size ratio here. 170$ for 2100grams(4.62 pounds) averaging $24/300grams. That being said, it is truly an exceptional coffee. The holiday blend embodies everything that you would imagine in a cup of coffee. Just give us a bit more for the money!
