Daily Bazar Halal Meat & Grocery

I visited this place today looking for halal meat, and I had a great experience. The staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They also offer a delivery service, so you can place an order and have it delivered at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality halal meat and excellent customer service.

Hidden gem in Edmonton. They have a kitchen that does a limited selection of authentic Bangladeshi food. I emphasize on the word authentic as the food reminds you of exactly what you would get in restaurants in Dhaka. They also have a wide array of groceries, meats and a smaller section of vegetables. But its the readymade food that shines.

This store offers a wide range of Asian products that customers are often searching for. The staff and owner are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist customers in finding the right items.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my repeated experiences at Daily Bazaar. The quality of their groceries is consistently unacceptable, and in some cases, outright unsafe. I have personally received koi fish that was spoiled, smelled bad, and clearly not fresh. This is not just poor service—it is a serious food safety concern. Despite charging high prices, the store continues to provide low-quality and questionable products. It feels like customers are being taken advantage of. Selling spoiled fish and substandard groceries shows a complete lack of responsibility toward public health. This level of negligence is unacceptable for any grocery business, especially when dealing with food that people and families consume daily. Because of these repeated and serious issues, we are preparing to file a formal complaint with Alberta Health Services. Food safety violations and disregard for customers cannot and should not be ignored. I would strongly advise members of the Bangladeshi community and others to be cautious and avoid shopping at Daily Bazaar until there is clear improvement. Businesses must understand that customers are the foundation of their success. If they continue to ignore quality and safety, they will lose the trust and support of the community. 🙏🏻😡😡

Great experience doing groceries here. Great interior design. It was really easy to walk around and find what I needed. Also some awesome customer service which was really amazing. But at the end of the day, as a student I will always go somewhere affordable and budget friendly. Extremely affordable prices here which is great not only for students but also for everyone. Highly recommended store. At least go once and see for yourself. You will like it just as I did.
