Ribeye Butcher Shop in West Edmonton was a surprise find. I had no idea it was here. We were heading into the dollar store and I decided to venture in — and ended up leaving with a couple of items. The first thing you notice is how beautiful the store looks. The layout is clean, organized, and thoughtfully done. The gentleman behind the counter, who I believe may be the owner, had that sense of ownership and genuine care. He answered all my questions without hesitation. The prices seemed fair, and the quality of what I purchased was very good. They’re more than just a butcher shop. There are specialty items throughout, and it almost has a bit of a deli feel with some of those offerings. I’ll be back.
I had a great dining experience at Ribeye Butcher Shop. The lettuce wrapped burger and tallow fries were amazing! I highly recommend.
For the past few years I’ve only exclusively ate my own homemade smash burgers because no other spots locally could compare. Today that changed! I got their regular Smash Burger with American Cheese and their Dirty Fries side (Which could easily be a restaurant of its own) and it totally exceeded my expectations! All super high quality ingredients you can taste. Will definitely be back!
Ordered a classic burger box for a Father's Day bbq, Jacob the person who initially took my order one week prior was very helpful. Picked up my order, ground that day and was super fresh. A huge hit with the family!!! The smash burgers and fries are delicious there too if you want a nice take out or dine in. Blows the rest of the burger establishments out of the water, very tasty and fresh.
I was not impressed with the smash burger. My mom had a smash burger at the Manning location, with my brother. She liked it , so she suggested to me we go out for one. She said she liked the taste of the burger at the Manning location better . It was the first one I had and it was so peppery tasting, I couldn’t really taste the beef. I will not be going back. I don’t mind spending 20 dollars for a burger meal , if it’s worth it. It was not. I did like the fries in the beef tallow, different taste to the fries. It was a nice change.
