Ben’s meats is a gem of Edmonton. Even though they specialize in meats, they have grocery, cheeses, tons of cute Dutch trinkets, baby stuff. And I don’t know a place I’ve had a better croquette at, which I should add they can do with or without Gluten!!! If you happen to have a gluten intolerance this is the place to not only shop, but have a snack/stop for lunch, even baked goods. The owners are celiac, and really have every Gluten free item I’ve ever seen in one store. The women chatting beside me, got a sandwich & said this was the “the best gluten free bread she has ever had”.

How can I even start this review. Honestly, I have nothing but amazing things to say of this place. The GF cafe is amazing for a quick lunch, the smoked chicken sub is amazing. I have tried other food items but that’s my fav. For desserts, the sticky cinnamon buns and snickerdoodle cookies are incredible. Oh I was forgetting the mini donuts, OMG. I have gone quite a few times and everyone has been always helpful and it’s gluten free heaven in general.

I can’t say enough great things about this gluten free butcher shop. Not only is the quality of the food outstanding, but the kindness and care truly set it apart. Dave, the owner, was incredibly helpful and compassionate when my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. He took the time to answer questions, explain options, and make us feel completely safe and supported. Finding a place you can trust means everything, and this shop has been such a gift to our family. Highly recommend. We appreciate you and your lovely staff!

Ben's Meats & Deli - new location. As always, so many delicious and wonderful things. An entire wall of gluten free items! Even yummy bones for the pups. Let's just say I happily left a chunk of my wallet there and managed to pick up some gifts for others as well. Gorgeous new store, great location with lots of parking and easy access. 184 st and 105th avenue. Now excuse me while I go eat my cheese. 😊
