10/10 - this place is awesome! Went for a first time drop-in. It was more than a "little" sweaty! Great workout, great group of people. Will be back soon!
Little Sweat Shop is an amazing place run by an amazing instructor. If you're looking for a place to train in Sherwood Park - THIS is the place!
I’ve trained at Little Sweatshop for over 10 years, and it’s truly one of my favourite places to be. The owner Shelley, is the kindest, most compassionate, and warm hearted being I have ever met. She treats all of her members like family. To top it off, she is an incredible athlete, and coach. She is so knowledgeable in the world of sports performance, and has helped so many of the MMA athletes in the gym deal with nagging pains and injuries. Outside of Shelley, the martial arts programs for the general public are outstanding and run by the best professional MMA team in the country, Shaved Bears MMA. The classes are structured for everyone from the casual enthusiast to the professionals. If you are in the Edmonton area this place is truly a gem. So much knowledge, good energy, and fun under one roof.
Shelly is an awesome instructor with a sincere passion for the well being of her clients. The seniors there just Love her.Iwholy support her cause,as I am also a weightlifting coach, and international referee, with 50 years experience in the fitness industry. Highly recommended it,as she is very family friendly.
This is not just a gym, it's a community. It's a place my husband & I can go and each be challenged in our own workouts but still workout together! The coaches are excellent at motivating and communicating expectations without being overbearing. Not only that, but they are quick to demonstrate each exercise and provide modified examples so individuals at every fitness level can participate. I highly recommend this gym, especially for couples / families who are looking for something they can do together.
