Alberta Helping Animals Society

is the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to and I've had animals my whole life. I had a bad experience with a different veterinarian clinic and these wonderful people saved my Kitty and my puppy they're amazing and I appreciate them so much! if it wasn't for them my cat would have been euthanized

A wonderful clinic with a highly professional team. It is clear that the staff truly love animals and treat them with great care and compassion. Everything was done calmly, gently, and professionally. Thank you for your kindness, attention, and excellent care.

So incredibly thoughtful and helpful in putting our beloved dog to rest. Growing up I've seen it happen and alberta helping animals was so much better with it all then a vet office. Yes they are a vet but they really make you feel at ease and allow you to be right there with them in there final moments. As heart breaking as it is to say goodbye to our beloved dog they really made it better. They also are so welcoming and helpful with your furry family members. Thank you for all you do for those in need.

My cat went missing in October, returned March in rough shape. I reached out, submitted the application/documents the process was simple and the volunteer so helpful. The appointment team and Vet were absolutely incredible, patient, supportive and fast. This is truly a fabulous organization and WORTH DONATING too! Thank you so very much

To be eligible for care with AHAS you must fall within listed income guidelines, which we did for 2026, and we couldn't be more grateful. The support and care they have provided our pets is extraordinary, and the staff, technicians, and doctors are very kind and understanding. Thank you AHAS team for everything you do for animals and the Edmonton community.
