I cannot give enough stars to the folks at this Veterinary service. We had one dog Louise who had sundowners syndrome who needed to cross the rainbow bridge. The day before we called forever friends are bonded sister started bleeding and we realized we adopted them together and they needed to crossover together. At the same time, my husband needed to go to the hospital. He was very sick. He wouldn’t go until we could get somebody in to help our girls cross. I found a couple of places and Furever Friends Home Vet answered that call and were able to come right away the very next day. Carol and Samantha we’re just the sweetest loveliest people and our girls. Well Thelma loved them. They made the process so much easier than I thought it would be and I am so very grateful. I would recommend forever friends, 1000 times over. Not having to stress out my girls and having them come to the house just a game changer and they were also one of the most affordable. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Our dog Cooper was diagnosed with cancer and 10 days later it made a fast and painful turn for the worst. We knew what was coming but didn’t know it would be that fast. It being a long weekend, I wasn’t sure how hard it would be to find a vet to come and do the inevitable. A friend had used Furever Friends a few weeks before so I emailed Carol. Her response was quick and thankfully had an opening the next day. It was the hardest decision we had to make so fast, but had no other choice. Carol kept in contact with me through the evening to offer suggestions to help ease his pain and explain the details. When she came, she was so kind and gentle. Very caring and soft natured, which makes the whole experience a little bit easier. She gave us plenty of time with our dog before and after. She brought treats for him to enjoy and box of kleenex for us and even left a memorial candle which was a nice little surprise. Partnered with The Meadows pet memorial, everything was taken care of. It was a very smooth process and we didn’t have to arrange for anything afterwards. Carol sent a sympathy card, which made me bawl my eyes out, it was so thoughtful! I am so happy we went with an at home euthanasia where our sweet boy could drift off in his home and on his favourite spot on the couch. If you are looking for a “stress free” euthanasia, I recommend Carol and The Meadows, very professional and full of love. Thank you again Carol, you made everything so easy for us!

Samantha and Carol were caring, compassionate and consummate professionals. Our dog Bela immediately liked both of them and welcomed them into our house. Carol explained the procedure carefully so there were no surprises. The necessary steps were carried out with the utmost care, revolving around Bela’s comfort. Bela experienced no anxiety, fear or pain and passed with the grace and dignity she deserved. This was made possible by the care of Samantha and Carol. They are absolutely amazing! Every 5 star rating is well deserved. I highly recommend Furever Friends.

We'll be forever grateful for the compassionate care and kindness Dr. Carol Black showed our golden retriever and our family during a devastating time. We especially appreciate that she came on such short notice and allowed us to say goodbye to our dog in the comfort of his home. What an incredible service she provides. Saying goodbye to our beloved cat Ally after almost 13 years was one of the hardest things our family has ever had to do. Dr. Carol and Samantha handled this incredibly difficult moment with such compassion, patience, and kindness that we will always be grateful. From the moment they arrived, they were gentle, calm, and deeply respectful of both Ally and our family. They gave us the time and space we needed, spoke with such warmth, and treated Ally with so much care and dignity. Their presence helped turn an incredibly painful experience into something that felt peaceful and loving. It meant the world to us that Ally was able to pass at home, surrounded by the people who loved her most, and we truly believe Dr. Carol and Samantha made that possible in the most beautiful way. We will never forget the compassion they showed our family. Thank you for helping us say goodbye to Ally with such tenderness and grace.
