The receptionists are always helpful and considerate and then some, especially when i forget to ask my doc for my refills. Pharmacy is awesome and helpful too! Dr. Journi cares about his patients and will work with you and help you respectfully. I am so glad i found this awesome clinic after searching for so long for a good Doctor who is thorough.

The front desk staff is absolutely wonderful ,friendly, professional, and always helpful (5 stars to them!). Unfortunately, Dr.Shaftar often runs behind schedule and feels like he doesn’t prioritize patient time . A bit more consideration there would go a long way.

Dr. Mohamed Embaya & his staff are wonderful. I was warmly greeted by the super helpful receptionist team. They answered questions and concerns with smiles on their faces! I was accepted as a new patient and have been treated with quality care and respect ever since. Today I came back for a follow up and I’m happy to say that I completely trust the care I received. Doc Mohamed Embaya is super attentive and works very efficiently with you as a patient. I’m happy to have finally found a doctor and staff that care about their patients. Especially in todays climate with patients feeling overlooked in the med industry.

Came to this clinic to have a medical form completed. The receptionist reviewed the form and told me that they were not able to accommodate me that day and so I booked an appointment. When I returned 2 days later at my appointment time I was told that the form would be $100 and that I could only pay cash, because apparently they don't accept debit/credit... There was no warning for this despite them seeing the form and knowing the reason for the appointment, and there is no signage anywhere to indicate it is a cash only clinic or costs for service. The receptionist told me I could walk down 118 ave to an ATM and come back. Luckily I didn't have to do this, and was sat in the waiting room for a lengthy period of time. During the wait one woman came out of a room and had to ask when the doctor would be in as she had been left waiting in a room for over an hour and she had class to get to. She was assured that he would be in, but when another 15 minutes had passed she eventually left before being seen. There was also an elderly woman who was waiting and she approached the receptionist and asked how much longer it would be. She mentioned that she had been waiting for a long time already and that she wouldn't be able to wait much longer because her husband has dementia and was at home alone. She was told to come back the next day. I find this ironic given the fact that their large sign out front specifically advertises "short wait times". When I was brought into a room I was told that I was still 3rd in line to see the doctor and continued to wait. It was over an hour past my original appointment time before he came into the room. He was not very personable or helpful and kept asking me questions about things that I had already explained and were not pertinent; instead, he was concerned about my totally normal BP of 128/86 saying, "the top number is fine, but the bottom number is too high.".... he then tried to take a manual blood pressure with a "technique" that I have never seen in the 12 years I've worked in healthcare. I would not recommend this clinic if you are looking for a walk-in or an appointment. If you are looking to get any tests done, however, this certainly is the place to go to have your patience tested.

Saw Dr Journi today and was not only on time but extremely efficient and professional. The reception is outstanding and willing to accommodate our needs quickly. Thank you staff!
