Over the past two years, I've been to this clinic maybe six times to get a referral from the doctor and then discuss the results. (I don't have any serious health problems). The clinic is very conveniently located, with plenty of waiting space and additional services: x-rays, ultrasound, an optometrist, and a pharmacy. Alberta Precision Laboratories is across the street. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. The building is clean. Once I had a referral for an x-ray and had a good experience. The wait time for the walk-in is up to two hours. I only go there on my days off, so this isn't a big deal for me – I can wait. I'd also like to mention Dr. Salem Alghbli, one of the kindest person I've ever met in my life: personable, attentive, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I really wanted to point out that not a single doctor during my appointment was in a rush, running away, or checking the time; they focused on my problem. I've been to more than just this clinic, so I have something to compare it to. At the same time, I understand patients who were dissatisfied: they waited too long, their symptoms were misinterpreted, or administrators didn't smile back. Everyone has bad days.
It was our first time visiting this clinic Extremely long wait times. We waited over 2 hours today. The clinic wasn't busy, and other walk-in patients who came after us were taken in before us. Unfair waiting system still we are wating
We are so grateful that we found Medicine Place! The staff are always so fantastic, friendly and kind. The doctor’s are all compassionate and thorough. We always leave with peace of mind, and feeling like our health is taken care of. Dr. Jody Huynh is the pediatrician to all of my children and I can say with certainty she is the absolute best doctor we’ve ever had. She truly goes above and beyond, we feel truly lucky to have found her! The pharmacy here is also amazing, the staff always remember me and leave me impressed with their knowledge and professionalism! Thank you to everyone at the clinic for providing such exceptional service and care!
DONT GO HERE FOR PREGNANCY ULTRASOUNDS!!! I was in here a few weeks ago getting ultrasounds done, it was my first pregnancy. I had many ultrasounds done within the month and two out of three nurses were incredibly rude. I didn’t want to say anything during my first appointment as I didn’t know I could until I spoke to my doctor who said otherwise. Not only was she extremely rude, she was really rough ( I think her name was Huda) And when I asked to see the screen the second time and to have my partner with me, which is allowed, the nurse said no and refused to turn the screen on. Even saying there was no heart beat and she couldn’t see anything when the chart said otherwise. Left my parter waiting outside and then letting me cry thinking something was wrong. Loved the third nurse though she was extremely nice and apologized for her coworkers, I wish I caught her name as she was AMAZING.
It was very busy when I went in, but the wait wasn't too long, the chairs aren't uncomfortable, I didn't see a spot to charge a phone. The nurses were very nice and helpful. The doctor i saw made time for me, asked questions and took my concerns seriously. I will come be if I ever need to.
