Second Home Pet Resort

I have been bringing my KODA bear to this pet resort since Oct 2024, and she loves it! She always comes out with a smile on her face and panting like she has run a marathon, so I know she has been burning energy. She was scared and shy at first but now runs to the staff and they welcome her with open arms. They gently eased her into the surroundings. Most mornings, they already have the office door open saying “GOOD MORNING” They are always truly kind and so accommodating. I have had to cancel and rebook, and it is never an issue. The facility is clean, and I love how it is on a farm, so many smells for my girl to take in. I really like how they have an indoor as well as outdoor play areas. I was extremely nervous at first, (new place and new people) but now I would not let anyone else watch her as I have never had an issue and she always comes home safe. They have my full trust. Not to mention it is great, the resort is family-owned, and the price is fantastic! I would recommend this pet Resort. FORSURE!

Wonderful place. I've been taking my dogs here for years and they love it. Decent sized kennels, lots of play time and outdoor time. Kind, dog loving staff. The dogs come home well excersized and happy.

We recently boarded our two “littles” at Second Home for a weekend. When we went to pick them up, we could tell they had both been well taken care of and were in great spirits. They had obviously been cared for in a loving manner and had also made some new friends during their stay. We would highly recommend Second Home Pet Resort to anyone need boarding or day care services. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our fur babies ❤️❤️

The staff are so friendly. We got there a few minutes after closing and they still accepted our drop off. They gave us a gift when we returned to pick up our cat after learning we were out of town for our wedding. Just a great place.

We've boarded our dog, Libby, here a couple of times, and each time has been a positive experience. After a less-than-ideal experience at a previous kennel, I was immediately impressed by how welcoming and well-maintained this facility is. It's clear the staff genuinely cares about the dogs. Libby always seems happy and healthy when we pick her up, which gives us such peace of mind. Though it’s been quite a while now since we needed to board our girl, I appreciate following them on Facebook and seeing pictures of their happy guests wagging their tails and playing. The runs are nicely set up with shade and fun play structures. It's obvious that they provide a high level of care, and we're so grateful to know they’re there if we need them again in the future.
