For 9 years, I’ve had such an exceptional experience at Southgate Dental Clinic, and I want to extend my deepest appreciation to Dr. Kia Pheng Tan and the entire team. From the moment I walk in, I’m always greeted warmly by Anu, at the reception. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care instantly make every visit comforting and stress‑free. A special thank you to Dr. Tan, whose expertise, gentle approach, and clear explanations always make me feel confident and well cared for. Dental visits can be intimidating, but Dr. Tan and his team make everything smooth and reassuring. I also want to acknowledge Janice, Dr. Tan’s assistant, for being incredibly supportive and attentive during every procedure. She anticipates patient needs, brings a calming presence, and always ensures I’m comfortable. A big shoutout as well to the wonderful hygienists, Krista and Sarah, who make routine cleanings thorough yet comfortable. Their friendly personalities and attention to detail truly stand out. Overall, the entire team at Southgate Dental Clinic is professional, caring, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. I’m truly grateful to be one of their patients and highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dental team.

Dear Dr Hamm. CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN My experience with MARIA WAS “AWFUL”. she sits at the desk…. She is is noted on website as working for Southgate Dental Center for many years. This lady “needs to go” nasty, rude, seems to take things personally…if you question her insurance submission. Maybe Retire Maria She is not a fan of the paperwork necessary to SUPPORT YOU as a DENTAL PATIENT with CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN. Had to deal with her for CPCP submission which became “submissions”.after speaking with Sun Life …. MARIA did not complete paperwork and attachments properly. Spoke to Dr Lau who rudely said she has full faith in Maria…. Dr Lau ….,Also communicating that she really NOT iinterested in dealing with CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan) NEW PATIENT BE AWARE So in closing …. not providing professional patient care for this government provided program. Dr Lau I feel her main objective is to grab patients money…Dr Lau, even has a rehearsed SALES PITCH about your Windshield needed extra insurance….same as dental care. I heard this 3 times from her. She’s an owner as she stated. Not very professional

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Tan for years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his team. The staff are all friendly, professional, caring, and actually take the time to get to know you and make you feel at ease. I'll be getting married later this year and Dr. Tan went out of his way to help me feel confident in my smile before the big day, without asking for anything in return. I'm extremely grateful; thank you to everyone for taking care of us all these years!

I have been coming to this dental clinic for past 2 years , and my experience has consistently been excellent. Dr. Tan and team and Anu is always welcoming and genuinely caring which makes my each visit so comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Yesterday I called at 2:45pm to make an appointment. Who ever answered the phone needs to be thought how to be on the phone. She was very unprofessional. She also told me office was in a meeting that I can't talk to my doctors admin staff...why why why have have someone answers 😕 phones when they are useless. My husband called in the morning to make an appointment and he couldn't. He was told call back.. redicilious .. I will be very honest with you front end staff is not the best.. Dr. Tan is great
