My partner and I went here friday afternoon, almost closing already. The place was clean, atmosphere was great, music was relaxing, and the staffs welcomed us with bright smiles. We ordered hot and iced pandan coffee, their bbq chicken bowl and bistek beef dip sandwich. We LOVED the foods! Both were very savoury and just the right blend for the chicken marinade and the beef was juicy. Would highly recommend their foods! The coffees are okay, but could be better specially with their pandan flavor as it didn’t have that much pandan taste. The chef/owner was very kind to let us taste their panna cotta as well, which was very delicious! We ended up ordering one for take out for my sister to try. 😋Overall, 101% we’d recommend!
Awesome Filipino restaurant and coffee place. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner even came to our table to chat. Food was delicious and the drinks are also unique and equally as good. I went for breakfast but will definitely be back to try the lunch menu. The decor and atmosphere inside is lovely.
Came here for the first time today and I’m already planning my next visit. Food was so good, pasta was fantastic. The longganisa and chicken were cooked perfectly and so juicy. Dessert totally won me over, it reminded me of home back in the Philippines. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the place is super cozy. Great spot to hang out with friends or bring family. Even the coffee was 5/5. Highly recommend!
Finally got to try @barakobistro and wow… everything was SO good. Definitely worth the drive to Erin Ridge. We tried the Bistek Beef Dip, BBQ Chicken Rice Bowl (Inasal), and Smashed Cucumber. Everything felt super comforting and nostalgic. The kind of food that just hits the spot. For drinks, we had an Americano made with @talacoffeeyeg Barako beans and the Dirty Pandan (which we’re still thinking about tbh) Also got to try their leche flan, cassava cake, and panna cotta for dessert. The leche flan was super creamy, just the way we like it. Happy to see more Filipino spots like this around Alberta. We’ll definitely be back.
