There’s nothing like authentic HK milk tea in a rainy day. I like how casual it is to have steamed dim sum here. Service is fast and courteous. Prices are more than reasonable given the convenient location. I’m going to add some frozen dim sum to the tab after. Siu Mai is solid. Overall solid place and a nice change of scenery and selection from Lucky and the obscenely high prices at nearby dim sum places. Affordability is key. New place to casually hang out at lunch or in the afternoon when you want a hot snack and drink.
Needed a quick bite and was craving dim sum, so we stopped by this place near Winners on Calgary Trail. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. The $4.99 dim sum items are definitely worth trying, and the noodles at $7.99 were quite good for the price as well. They also offer frozen options to take home, which I'm looking forward to trying on my next visit. Overall, a great spot for affordable dim sum, and I would definitely recommend it.
Good value through Too Good To Go, but nothing particularly impressive. I picked up a Too Good To Go package from Blu Cafe Dim Sum for $7.99, and while the food and environment were nothing particularly impressive, the value of the package itself was quite good. I received steamed beef balls, chicken feet, and sticky rice—three dim sum items that are normally around $4.99 each, so getting all three for $7.99 was definitely a good deal. The quality was pretty much average Edmonton Chinese restaurant standard. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but nothing was particularly disappointing either. One nice advantage is that with Too Good To Go, you get the value without the usual expectation of tipping, which makes the $7.99 price even more reasonable. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way for the food or atmosphere, but as a Too Good To Go deal, it’s definitely worth considering.
10/10! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. Everything we ordered was so good that I had to take home some of their frozen dumplings and lotus buns. They're definitely worth stocking up on! Highly recommend if you're looking for amazing food without breaking the bank.
