Deccani - Indian Hyderabadi Kitchen

We've been twice now and every dish has been great and the staff / owner really nice and willing to explain the various dishes. We've tried the Desai butter chicken, red beef curry, bagjaar-e-baingan, and beef kheema biryani. The bagjaar dish is eggplant with peanut sauce which was really good. Never had anything quite like it before. The Biryani was also really good. Will definitely go back to try more things and would highly recommend.

The food here is pretty tasty. Quite enjoyed the Apollo Fish, garlic naan and Mutton Biryani. The chicken curry we tried packed quite a bit of heat (even as mild) and while it wasn't bad, was a bit too oily. Very friendly service and nice interior decor.

Deccani Biryani completely blew us away. The kebabs? Seriously, 10/10. So succulent and smoky — they literally fell apart in the best way. We ordered a second plate because we couldn’t stop. The soups were also a surprise hit. Super flavorful and comforting, like something your grandma would make if she was a pro chef. But what really made the night was the owner couple. They were amazing. Genuinely cared that we were enjoying everything, gave us recs, and even checked on us after the rush started. You can tell they pour their heart into this place. That kind of service is rare. The place itself is gorgeous too. That glowing Deccani sign, clean modern tables, warm lighting very contemporary. Not to mention that dessert with the almonds and rose petals looked almost too pretty to eat. Easily my new favorite Indian spot. We’ll be regulars for sure. Highly Recommended five stars plus 👌 👌

We ordered Tangdi Kebab and Chicken Biryani. Finely crafted and succulent with complex aromas and flavors. Uniquely devine and fragrant-Fit for the Gods. Service-Perfect! Decor-Modern, clean and comfortable. It wasn't just a meal, it was "An Experience!"

We hadn’t had authentic Hyderabadi chicken biryani for months since we came to Canada and this place did it for us. The biryani was delicious, the chicken fell off the bone. It was enough to feed two of us, the quantity was quite generous for $22. Mr Vamsi was very helpful and kind, the food was amazing. We also had jannat-e-aam ananas, it was very creamy and the chunks of pineapple were so fresh. The saffron and the tiny rose petals along with sliced almond created a delicious dessert. The decoration of the place was super cool too. Shout out to Mr Vamsi’s wife! We will definitely be back to try other dishes inshaallah.
