Hanoi Pho Vietnamese Kitchen

I really wasn't sure about this place when I walked in. It is quite small and we were the only ones there aside from 2 people just leaving, but here I am writing this review to send appreciation to the staff and service of this amazing place!! I hope this review doesn't make this cute little gem become too big that I'll never have a table for me again lol! The food was phenomenal, I've been looking for a pho place that tastes just like my favourite spot back in BC, and finally, I've found that perfect replacement here. I tried the special beef pho. Their unique touch of pepper with subtle ginger pieces really just warm you up on a cold day. The broth overall was extremely flavourful and full of those fresh greens you'd normally want in a traditional bowl of pho. I also tried their grilled pork salad rolls which is BEYOND my expectations, even better than my usual go to in BC. The flavour of the pork had a strong lemongrass flavour which complimented so well with the fresh lettuce, cucumber and vermicelli. For a salad roll, I really did not expect much but I was seriously surprised! It had bite that was filling and went so well with the peanut sauce too. Overall for a first time experience I'm so very glad I took a chance here. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming which is just great bonus points. I'll be coming back for as long as this place exists 🩷 thank you!

Restaurant under new ownership. We ordered the beef satay pho and Pho tai. Both soups were very flavorful . I prefer mildly spicy soup and the beef satay pho was just perfect. The portion size was perfect with plenty of meat and noodles. The star of the meal was the Vietnamese cold coffee. Will definitely visit again.

Had a great experience at Hanoi Pho. I ordered the Bún Bò Huế, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the portion was generous. If you're looking for a great bowl of Bún Bò Huế, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll be back!

Pho is truly comfort food especially in cold winter in Edmonton. When I saw Tai basil and lemon, I already know this family run restaurant is good. Ordered special pho. Portion is big with fresh meats and tasty hand made beef balls. No need to add hoisin sauce to well cooked broth. Shrimp salad roll is fresh and good. All good reviews are true. Stop by this lovely family run restaurant when you visit the area.

The food here is made with a lot of care, and the veggies on the side are super fresh. The grilled pork is really tasty — you can tell the meat is fresh and juicy. Definitely try the beef meatballs, they’re homemade. Staff are friendly and professional. I’ll for sure come back!
