Classic Vietnamese pho, banh mi, and vermicelli bowls. Broth simmered daily, generous portions, alcohol-free family restaurant.
Had an extremely good experience with this little neighborhood Gem . Food was very tasty and authentic . A must to order is the #12 grilled meat platter . A special thanks to Roop for all her efforts and professionalism
The place is nice with plenty of parking. However the food falls short. Had the Bun Bo Hue, and it had a fair amount of meat but the soup felt overly sweet compared to traditional BBH. It was also a bit too spicy to my liking, and the bean sprouts, cabbage and chilli peppers already in the broth as opposed to being separate. Service was good, and the menu is huge. I’d give this place another chance with a different menu item.
I walked in a few weeks ago to check it out, met the owner and was looking forward to experiencing this new place in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, our experience today was so disappointing in several aspects. Service, we walked in and sat down before one of the only 2 staff came to speak with us even though they only had one occupied table in the restaurant. Paper menus that were stained. I asked about the pad Thai and was told " this is not a Thai restaurant, it's Vietnamese " yet, pad Thai is on the menu and I ordered it. My partner ordered the beef & broccoli, got it and was nearly finished before I got my pad Thai. The crispy rice in his dish was actually steamed rice. We ordered pork and vegetable spring rolls which were fine. The pad Thai was so spicy and greasy, I couldn't eat it. When I told the server/cook about it she asked if I wanted it to go. A bit of a language barrier, I imagine. I explained that I don't want it. She made no offer to take it off the bill and stated that they couldn't do that. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the same girl came back and said again that they couldn't change the bill as it was already entered in the computer. I again asked for a supervisor. This other lady comes out, east Indian, shows me the menu and says " see where it says, it's a spicy dish"? "We're losing money now because we have to throw it away". I was shocked at this behavior. Completely disappointing, disrespectful and blaming me. I explained that we are experienced diners and eat spicy food but, this was not edible and I only took two bites of the dish. She finally, reluctantly, removed the dish from the bill. Horrible service. Needless to say, we won't be back and we do not recommend it.
Best pho and vermicelli in the city. The noodles alone are next level. Must try the all meat vermicelli.
Garbage 🗑 🚮 🗑 🚮. Left this food on the table and paid the bill. I usually bring home the leftovers. See picture. It was disgusting. Peanut sauce had a pubic hair in it. Asked for a vegetable curry dish with no onions or green peppers. The custom dish was half onions. One person on premises to do front end, tables and cooking. Not authentic cuisine at all. The one staff member had a noticeable Indian accent. I may be wrong 😳 but this food was closer to Indian cuisine than it was to Vietnamese. This place was seriously understaffed for a Friday evening at 5 pm. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.
