We called ahead while driving from Calgary to Edmonton & the staff kindly reserved a table and took our order over the phone. By the time we arrived we didn't have to wait long for the food, which made the experience very convenient after a long drive. The overall experience was good. The owner was very accommodating, welcoming, and ensured we were well looked after. The food was fresh, and the service was ok, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Pakistani food in Edmonton.
We came here for the first time and were seated promptly. The food choices are plenty and the food came hot and very tasty. The portions are decent and sufficient. The slight disappointment is that the chairs, tables and floor could be a bit more cleaner or attention to detailed cleaning. The dirty dishes also could be picked up more promptly and shouldn’t be our job to ask to have them picked up. Summary: Food - Great and tasty Service- with a little encouragement, it could be a lot better. Would we come back- Yes
Today we ate at Fatima Karahi Restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. We also received excellent customer service from Mariyum. She was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great dining experience. Thank you, Mariyum, for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely visit again! 😊
We had the chicken karahi and goat curry, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken karahi was perfectly cooked, full of rich flavors, and had just the right amount of spice. The goat curry was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection—the meat practically fell off the bone. The portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and every bite was satisfying. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful South Asian food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!
I have been here several times and Alhamdulillah, excellent experience everytime! Their ambiance is very pleasant, bright with lots of natural light (during the day of course) where pictures turns out amazing, beautiful and sophisticated interiors! On our several visits, we have tried so far: Chicken biryani Chicken Tikka biryani Mix kebab platter Palak paneer Paneer butter masala Palak Chicken Broast Chicken Naan Khoya Kheer Our all time favorite is their palak paneer and now paneer butter masala! Broast Chicken and mix kebab platter is our favorite as well as they are value for money and tastes amazing! Presentation was appetizing. My husband and kids a big fan of their butter naan! My friend recommended khoya kheer and it did not disappoint us at all! My small kids devoured the kebabs, Alhamdulillah! We look forward to try their famous karahi, nihari and halwa puri In Shaa Allah. Everything is priced reasonably. We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and as far as I remember, our bill never crossed beyond $60! Which is also why this place has become our favorite now! 🤩 I hope they keep their prices same. 🫶🏻 The owner Maryam is very friendly. Her son who works there is also friendly and makes sure that we are good. 👍🏻 Bonus is that they have a small prayer area!! We go to Fatima Karahi without having to worry about "where do we pray namaz when its time!?" 🥰 I wish I had taken more pictures than videos of our orders. The pictures I have attached are the screenshots from the videos I took because Google doesn't allow to upload a video for the reviews I guess?! Thank you Fatima Karahi for your amazing food, service and place! ❤️ May Allah put lots of barakah in your rizq. Aameen
