Getting out of work late on a Sunday night and tired of fast food, well you must try this little gem because the tacos were delicious. The tortilla soup was also quite good. I unfortunately did not take pictures of all the food I bought because I forgot and I was hungry. While I was eating I had a chance to travel in time I have ate food in Mexico and also in California. I was right there for a moment and that makes me happy.
The food was amazing, best shrimp tacos ever! What blew me away was how careful they are around food sensitivities. I felt so heard and respected. 100% will be back!
I accidentally barged into this restaurant to take shelter from the rain, and I'm so glad I did. I decided to try the tacos and they were legit the best tasting tacos ever! I had some churros too and you can bet they were delicious Also, the lady and the man that I met were really warm and welcoming. I was completely drenched when I rushed in but they were genuinely kind and made me feel comfortable Safe to say this one's been added to my favourites
I was thrown off by the aroma of East Indian cuisine when I entered the small restaurant. I was also offered butter chicken burrito. An interesting idea but not one I was in the mood for. This made me very spectical of the food served. The young girl was super friendly and assured me that the Mexican food was authentic. I tried a few items on the menu and they were pretty good. The churros were great but I strongly recommend they are eaten as as soon after they come out of the fryer as possible. The whip cream they provide flat lines. Will be back to this place for their tacos. Update: returned for the second time and I love how everything is made fresh on the spot. The burritos and tacos were great. Also tried the Mexican poutine. Really good. Increased my rating to 5.
The moment I went through the Tim Hortons drive thru and saw this place I knew it would be a gem! I was not wrong 😁. My mom and I came here Easter Sunday so we knew it wouldn't be busy. It is an intended "to go" version of the restaurant Maria downtown so there is very limited seating. The space was very clean and we felt it was very hygienic in food preparation when we observed the cooking and back space. We ordered the pastor tacos and the quesabirria tacos 🌮 and they were nothing short of exceptional. There was overflowing ingredients that tasted fresh and delicious- cooked to perfection. The cook working was pleasant and very welcoming. We will definitely be back as it is just a 2 minute drive from our place ☺️.
