Wonderful dining experience. Staff is super nice and professional. Must try their Elk poutine and Bison burger, tastes wonderful and the plating of the dishes looks fantastic. We missed the Elk burger, speciality of the day, we will definitely come back for that. Their soup of the day is also a surprise for me. Bread comes with the maple butter which is a must try as well.
Incredible! Best spinach dip ive ever had, tenderloin was cooked perfectly med rare. Potatoes and veggies were immaculate. Service and atmosphere is top notch. For the quality the prices are not overly high, better than the Keg by miles. Come to this restaurant!
We visited Homefire Grill for the first time this evening. The atmosphere was good, the chicken parm and linguine special was phenomenal. The drinks were delicious and our gem of a server was fantastic. She was bubbly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and so friendly. It's not too often that a server treats a teenager with as much respect as she showed my son on our visit. Stacy was not about customer service, she was about customer experience! The only part of our visit that was disappointing was the lady who worked the host station. She was miserable and there was nothing warm about her, (as one would hope when being welcomed into an establishment such as this one). She never cracked a smile at anyone, didn't wait for the elderly people who she was seating, and made us feel like seating us was a chore. I understand that this may be "just a job" for her, but please at least pretend to care at least a little. Outside of that, we really enjoyed our experience here and hope to visit again. With someone a little more friendly at the front, the visit would've been a 5/5. We weren't expecting much after contact with the host, but without knowing, Stacy redeemed the visit for us.
From the point of booking the reservation to finishing dinner, we had an exceptional experience! The atmosphere with the fireplace was warm and welcoming. The menu was nicely set with interesting and different choices, our meals were delightful. The service from the hostess and servers, to the kitchen staff in the open concept kitchen gave a feeling of family and warmth. We will definitely be returning & recommend Homefire Grill. It was so nice to go to a restaurant that was buzzing with activity. The huge burning fireplace and relaxing with a Blueberry Tea cocktail after dinner drink was perfection, thanks!
Perfect meal all of the way around. The place is warm and cozy, and the food is delicious. The bannock came with this butter that my wife kept eating after the bannock was all gone... We had bannock, wings, elk poutine, burger/fries, and chicken cordon bleu. The only criticism I have for the whole night was that the salt and pepper wings didn't have nearly enough salt or pepper, and we had to use shakers to supplement it. Everything else was amazing though, so I still give it a 5 on food.
