$21.25 for an INCH of of bland tteokbokki?? How do you make BLAND rice cakes? The price is absolutely disgusting for the quantity that is given. There were no reviews on DD for this restaurant and I understand why. There's only spice, no other flavour in the rice cakes, only spice. The black bean noodles came separately, which I actually prefer but again the taste is bland. There's a huge lack of pork with more onions than anything. The sauce is thin and doesn't coat the noddles properly. If the sauce is old I would understand because it doesn't taste much, it doesn't taste Korean. I wanted to support a local business but what I was given has given me a HUGE reason not to. I'll never order from here again. And I express nobody else to come here either. It's a huge waste of money and time. There are better Korean restaurants that give better portions, better food and better prices. The noodles were $17.50 and the rice cakes were $21.25. After all the fees and taxes me and my boyfriend payed $46.49 because we assumed from the deceptive pictures and prices that the portions would be higher quality. Do not waste your time going/ordering from here. My friend went a while ago and didn’t enjoy her stay, I wanted to try for myself to see how it would be and my experience matched hers. I am disappointed to give a one star review on a local restaurant, but I feel the need to share. I should’ve read the reviews before placing an almost $50 order.

I'm not sure how this place wasn't packed but I am glad it wasn't so we could eat here. This has been the best Korean food I have eaten and we will be coming back soon. Thank you for having us.

Visit: June 2025 Came with my family and the food was pretty good! Had the cheese chicken, while my other family had the seafood soup and pork bone soup. The cheese chicken was spicy and had a good balance between chicken, cabbage/vegetables, and tteok-bokki. The soups were packed with flavour and the pork bone soup had a large piece of pork (on the bone). Overall the food was good, though a bit pricey. The music was a bit loud but otherwise, loved how clean and aesthetic the restaurant was. Staff was nice as well!

Not too bad. Good food, place is very clean and the grills are nice. A bit on the pricey side but servings are plenty when we went for 2 people. Lots of side dishes too! Squid side dish is the only one you can’t refill which makes sense since squid is expensive. The lettuce I was surprised you can only refill once. We made it work but it’s something to keep in mind when you go the first time or with more people. Corn cheese was delicious 👌🏽 Service was great when we went in during lunch/opening!

I came to Jung for dinner a few months ago. The restaurant had a really good vibe and the servers weren’t afraid to talk/share their opinions. In terms of food, I tried their Seafood Pancake and Combo for 4 with Tangsuyuk, Tofu Soup, and Shredded Beef Soup. All of the items tasted good. The combo for 4 actually had quite a bit of food where it might be enough for 5 people. All the BBQ meats turned out really good and the Pork Jowl stood out the most. Both the Tofu Soup and Shredded beef soup were nice as well. Overall, I’d give them 8.3/10
