ZIGLE Korean Bulgogi Restaurant

I have known the owners for a long time from my hometown in Saskatchewan (Hi Jay & Joanne!) where they own a hotel, and it was during my last visit with them that they suggested that I try out their Sherwood Park restaurant, and boy am I glad that I did! The food is spectacular. Their bulgogi is second to none, and every dish was perfectly cooked. We tried their three main bulgogi dishes - rice, japchae, and my first time trying tteokbokki, all of which were amazing. The hidden gems of ZIGLE are definitely their chicken wings which are so juicy and flavourful while having the best crisp on the outside! The bulgogi tacos were a hit also, and are a great ‘entry’ dish for those who are hesitant to go outside of their comfort zone. The service was friendly, and both of our servers were excellent. The tablet ordering system is wonderful for being able to scroll and decide at your leisure, and order more dishes to the table without needing to track down a waitress. If you’re in the mood for some excellent Korean bulgogi, this is the place to go!

Tried this place out for a group dinner. We had a great time. Some dishes are not the same as other places or restaurants, which is a nice change. I will note that the shared bulgogi signature was not my favourite. It was more of a shallow hot pot with too much broth for our taste. This made it difficult for wraps with the lettuce as there was too much liquid running off. The japchae was one of the best I’ve had though.

Had an amazing experience at ZIGLE Korean Bulgogi Restaurant. The food was incredibly authentic, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. The ambience was cozy and modern, making it a great place for both family dinners and casual outings. Excellent value for money with generous portions and attentive service. Definitely coming back.

DUDEEE this place was so incredible wow, i didn’t even grow up with korean food but the sweet chilli tofu brought me back to my childhood, like that one scene from ratatouille. the cheese tteokbokki was incredible. very good vegan selection, and easy to edit the dishes to make them vegetarian. great prices as well. staff was so lovely and kind. highly recommend!! i’ll absolutely be back and bringing every single person i know

Nothing to complain about the venue. It is a clean restaurant and service is good. The only thing I can’t give a 5-Star is the food. Don’t get me wrong, my order was not bad. However, my expectation from a 4.9-Star restaurant is high. Zigle’s dishes are westernized. For the price, it is good. But for to earn a 5-Star review, it has room to improve. For instant, I expect the crispy chicken is hot and crispy. But the dish I ordered is not.
