La Cocina Latina

The food at La Cocina Latina is AMAZING!! Everyone in our party of 5 loved every bite! Our service wasn't perfect, we were there for about 45 minutes before we had our order taken. But even so, our waitress was pleasant and the food was definitely worth the wait.

With my first time here at Smokin' Barrels Cocina Latina and trying Mexican food overall, this spot is absolutely fantastic in every way. Once you enter, you are greeted with an wonderful atmosphere that appears small but has wonderful interior designs, as well as being greeted with amazing service by the staff. I came along with my brother and tried out the Quesabirria along with my brother trying the Don Birria Tacos, and with the Quesabirria, it has a huge portion size (which I was shocked to say the least) that includes a wonderful presentation along with the high quality smoked brisket, to which tasted very amazing along with the sauces provided. I also tried out the Don Birria Taco my brother had (since we both shared due to the portion of the Quesabirria) which also tasted great with the same high quality brisket as well as the soft shell. Overall, Smokin' Barrels Cocina Latina is a excellent Mexican Restaurant Spot that I would recommend to everyone, although I would say that it deserves a good location with more space due to its small size.

Great Mexican cuisine find. Food is delightful one of the best in town. Enjoyed the place, food, variety, sauces, and portions, all were great and a definite come come. Our server was so nice too ❤️ they had fifa games on and were quite busy on a Saturday late afternoon

The food here was genuinely amazing — everything we ordered was flavourful and well-prepared. The drinks were just as good. Unfortunately, the service really took away from the overall experience. Although all the staff were kind and friendly, it took a long time just to place our initial order, and throughout the meal we constantly had to flag someone down for anything we needed. We asked for cutlery and never received it, ordered another round of drinks that didn’t arrive, and when we tried to order dessert, we were told the kitchen had already closed. It overall was a little disappointing given how strong the food and drinks were. With better service, this place could easily be a standout. Would rate it 3.5/5 stars overall if I could.

Everything we ordered was very delicious!!! Although we think the birria soup was a bit too salty, it still tastes very nice! Staffs were so friendly and fun. They sang happy birthday for me and gave brownies with ice cream which we didn’t expect, but it sure did made my day extra special !
