Mr. Halal is a burger joint further in the North of Edmonton. Firstly, the space is well lit with natural light. And it is extremely clean and well kept. The service was very professional and helpful. Not overly friendly but straightforward. I tried two different burgers and they are very good smash burgers. As a note, they come with a lot of fried onions so if that's not you're thing make a mute when you order. 4 x 🍔 🍔 🍔 🍔
Absolutely delicious! Staff here are great and accommodating. With my wife pregnant 6 months and really hungry for a burger with our son on the way. It's a treat to come here. They're good folks. I would eat no where else. Support this place and eat here. The prices are fair and the place is clean and bright. ❤️👍
I ordered through uber and was very disappointed. I paid extra for extra patty on my burger and they didn't put extra patty in one of them. The taste was veey bland and the patty was too salty. Then i was even more disappointed when the chicken sliders had barely any chicken inside. The first slider was almost all breading with little to no chicken. The second slider had one micro chicken piece and a second one broken off. I heard about this place being cheap but they charge gourmet burger prices and are not worth it at all. Very disappointed. Update: So as per owner's reply, i guess SALTY means the food is flavourful. Wow i didn't know that salt is the only flavour that exists. Secondly the BOGO promotion mentioned is a scam. You charge more than the price of 1 burger on the BOGO and then make your patry extremely thin to save on money. The cpncerns are all valid and it goes to show you have terrible ccountability as you didn't even contact me to investigate. Bad business practices and bad food. Will never be returning
Ok I ordered from Mr. Halal burger tonight. My brother and I are both gluten intolerant. To others my next comment may not mean much but to someone that is sentenced to eating gluten free bread they will understand. The GF buns they use are amazing. Great texture, have the closest mouth feel to a gluten bun I’ve ever had aaaaannnnddd they don’t disintegrate!!! Amazing. Ok enough about the buns. The burger itself out shines even the joy of finding the greatest GF bun of all time. Great flavour great seasoning just amazing. I’m very impressed. I will definitely be going back !!!
Owner was really friendly & helpful! Recently diagnosed as celiac so asking if they had a gluten free menu. Not only do they offer gluten free bun and fries, they even have a separate fryer to ensure no cross contamination ☺️ Boyfriend called it the closest Canadian version of the famous In & Out burger lol. Got the new Oklahoma Burger with caramelized onions with American cheddar. Gluten free bun was almost like an artisan bread, airy like focaccia but not dense like one. Very comfortable experience and lower cost than most gluten free dine out options! A must try for celiac friendly places!
