Mr Halal Burger

I’ve been a customer of Mr. Halal Burger for a while now—mostly at their Northgate location, which I’ve visited several times. This was my second time at the West Edmonton Mall location, but my first time actually dining in. Food-wise, no complaints. I went with the double cheeseburger during their happy hour deal and it was great value. The food came out quickly and tasted just as good as I expected based on my past visits. The only downside was an unfortunate interaction with another customer in the dining area. The seating space is quite small, and I sat down at a larger table that appeared to have open space. Shortly after, another customer approached and claimed the entire table, even though there was clearly room to share. The situation was handled in a pretty unfriendly and territorial way, which wasn’t necessary given the setting—it’s a casual fast-food environment, not a private dining space. The other patron was unnecessarily rude. Given the situation, I expected a bit more courtesy and basic manners, which made the interaction more disappointing than it needed to be. Rather than escalate things, I chose to move. What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness of another customer—a mother dining with her young son—who saw what happened and immediately offered me a seat at her table. That simple gesture completely changed the tone of the experience and was genuinely appreciated. So while the food and consistency across locations continue to be solid, the dining area experience can depend a bit on who you run into. Thankfully, there are still good people out there who balance things out. Overall, I’ll continue coming back and would recommend this place.

First time trying this burger spot and what a great decision it was. Having limited halal options for burgers is hard, but we saw a reel on instagram and just had to try. The staff members were accommodating and the burgers were juicy and fresh. Will definitely stop by here whenever we are in Edmonton especially west Edmonton mall.

Wow double cheeseburger 🍔 is good! Service is very good, area is so clean. Mr. Nabel is very good 👍 and Chef Sal made the best burger 🍔, it's very juicy and tasty. Come see them at WEM ❤️

Love love loved the burgers! Probably ome of the best we have had. Will come back again with the family! Rakshya was great with the service and was awfully patient with us ^_^ We tried the The Beef Bacon and The Cheeseburger.

Got the hotdog value meal and it was BOMB! The portion wasn't stingy at all and the fries tasted soooo good, like from Mcdonald's. Guy at the front was the best!
