Royal Pizza Spruce Grove

I had a great experience with Royal Pizza . The quality of the food was very high and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. The service was excellent , friendly and efficient. My pizza was made ready for pickup right on time in 25 minutes, just as promised. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to others!

Ordered a small pepperoni & a meat calzone. Not bad, but not the best in Spruce either. 😏

Normally the Royal Pizza in Spuce Grove is really good, not that it wasn't this time. The issue I think is an education on the health code and food handling standards. My visit was a call in order, I arrived early and sat and waited, I watched another customer walk in get her order then go to her vehicle, once inside she must of check her pizza to realize one was wrong. She walked back into the store. The young lady at the counter looked at the pizza, told a gentleman in the cooking area, he took the pizza and placed it back up on the oven to keep it warm. At this point I was walking into the store. I gave my name and sure as can be the young lady grabbed my two pizza one of which had been given to another customer and was out of the store. I told the young lady I would not be taking that pizza as it had left the shop and had been returned anything could have been done to it in the other customers vehicle and it was against the food handling code to give out food that has left already. She informed me that the other customer did nothing to it...... I said oh I did not realize as I watch this all happen that you were out in her vehicle with her when she opened the box to see you gave her the wrong order. At this point one of the cooks came up and said the pizza was fine. So I said im done cancel the order. He then and only then offered to make a new pizza. Which I agreed to. I think in this case a bit of education in the food handling codes are needed in this restaurant. The pizza (other than one was pretty much cold by the time I got it home) was great as usual.

We phoned about 20 min before closing on January 1st and ordered a medium ham/pineapple for pick up. It was one of the best ham/pineapple pizzas I have had, and I have had thousands in my lifetime. The toppings were generous and the crust was perfect. 🤩

Am I the only one dumb founded that I 💯%believe that ordering a large pizza is more money in royal pizza pocket because I don't think the pizza is actually a large its a medium cut in to smaller multiple pcs 🤔 instead of the right way where all pcs are pretty even. So the large pizza you sell is smaller than the stated size of the box which is 12" a large every where else is 14" or more the ques is ARE YOU KNOWINGLY RIPPING YOUR CUSTOMERS OFF BY CHARGING 29$ FOR A DELUXE CALLING IT LARGE BUT NO BIGGER THAN A MED 12" EVERYWHERE ELSE???
