Spectacular! My wife and I had sandwiches, soup, and dessert… it was all AMAZING. I had the Coronation Chicken sandwich… if you like a curried salad, you absolute MUST order this… incredible! The tuna crunch was delicious as well, and it should be known these sandwiches are huge, you won’t go away hungry. Loved the tomato soup, but the runaway star was the sticky toffee pudding - it too is huge, smothered in custard and candied pecans. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and pleasant service. We will be returning many times!

This is thee place to go in Spruce for a good sandwich! Yes, there was a wait—but only because this place is THAT good. There was a constant stream of customers, yet the staff were absolutely hustling and kept the food coming out quickly without ever sacrificing quality. While I waited, I may have accidentally started a bakery shopping spree. Every time something fresh came out of the oven, I had to try it! The standout was a piping hot, cookie infused croissant that was out of this world. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Ashley. She kept checking in on everyone waiting, making sure customers were doing okay and making us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s such a small gesture, but it made a big impression and made my day! I ordered the Ploughman’s sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious and a fantastic value for the price. The café itself has all the cozy charm of a quaint European café with a warm country feel. Can’t wait to come in the winter time and enjoy a nice hot americano and curl up with a good book! Do yourself a favour: don’t walk, run! I’ll definitely be back (can’t wait to try more fresh bake goods and sandwiches!!!).

Absolutely adore this place! Have gone several times since it opened a couple weeks ago. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I love it for dates (or even a mini date- a quick treat without the kids after groceries!) with my husband. Also love it for mini dates with my kids. They have a nice selection of adorable boardgames (forgot to snap a photo) Highly recommend the Ploughman's Sandwich! FULL of flavor! It's the perfect lunch/dinner to have on a hot summer day! With a warm sausage roll & Dijon mustard. Also have enjoyed the roast beef & horseradish and a gluten free tuna. An absolute MUST is the sticky toffee pudding! Oh my goodness literally did a little happy dopamine dance while eating it! 10 stars! Have also enjoyed a few other treats but the sticky toffee pudding is definitely the best! They have a big selection of drinks from hot to cold. Teas, coffees. My go to is the iced London fog with oat milk.

The first time I came in my daughter and I enjoyed an egg and mayo sandwich, and a ploughmans sandwich and salad. Both were huge, tasty and beautifully made! We decided to dine in and the service was friendly and quick. I’ve since been back to order another ploughmans sandwich for takeout and the service was fast, friendly and it was just as tasty as the first time! Highly recommend if you love a good sandwich and want to support an awesome local business :)

I recently purchased sausage rolls and scotch eggs, along with a London Fog and a macchiato, and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the establishment is quite welcoming and feels distinctly British, complete with small play areas for children like a mini farm and a selection of books. It really gives the feeling of being at home.
