Yelo'd has grown far beyond its roots as a niche Filipino ice cream shop and has established itself as one of Edmonton's most innovative dessert destinations. The menu celebrates Filipino flavors while continually introducing creative new offerings, making every visit feel fresh and exciting. Their ice cream is consistently rich, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted, but the experience doesn't stop there. Their drinks and pastries are equally impressive and complement the ice cream perfectly. Our personal favorites are the Halo-Halo, lychee soft serve, Grandpa Wong ice cream and the Champorado Sundae, all showcase the creativity that sets Yelo'd apart. We visit at least three times a month...sometimes even weekly...and there's always something new worth trying. Few places manage to combine quality, creativity, and consistency as well as Yelo'd. It's easily one of Edmonton's best dessert spots.
Their ice cream flavors always surprise me! Last time I visited, I tried their Thai-inspired flavors—mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea. They tasted so authentic 🩷🩷 I usually go for the ube flavor 😏 Highly recommend!
I had the Ube ice cream & the husband had the cereal milk ice cream, both of which were amazing! We got so many treats as well, (ube cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie, licky cat oreo, fortune cookie, ube cookie, lucky cat cat) everything was delicious & the staff was amazing!
these are the flavors i got: ube 10/10 keso 13/10 (with chewy bits) (chew-ube) pandan 8/10 calamansi sorbet 15/10 mango sticky rice 7/10 cereal milk 12/10 (with chewy bits) ube nanaimo SLAB 9/10 I came here too often this week the calamansi sorbet is extremely refreshing during the hot season. naturally i will be getting this all the time. the nanaimo kind of doesn’t have an ube flavor due to the overpowering chocolate ganache. still would cram in mouth review to be edited later this week after i return edit: calamansi lemonade 10/10 is pretty good but not as good as the sorbet. a bit too sour from the lemon. still refreshing second edit: halo halo next to be reviewed in 2 years
Love this place! Yelo’d is a must-visit regardless of the season. It will make your day, I promise! If you can’t choose a flavour, try ube or buwan moon mist.
