First time at Cryptic Characters and it was a blast! Did the Containment Breach Z: Last Survivors room which was challenging but definitely satisfying. The live actor who provided us with clues elevated our experience by staying in chatacter and adding elements of urgency and humor throughout the 90 minutes of game play. Would definitely return to try out the other themes offered. Great place, staff & storyline! Thanks so much! :)
We hosted a birthday party for my kid. They all had a great time! Thanks a lot for letting us use the lounge to serve snacks and drinks. Their staffs were so nice to store our birthday cake in the fridge and ice cream in the freezer. They were so helpful to guide these young folks to escape from the rooms. Overall ,it's a great birthday!
This place is incredible! From the first interaction booking on the phone; the staff were very friendly and helpful! Upon arrival for my son's birthday party, the lady at the desk was so positive and fun to deal with - she did a fantastic job orienting the boys and getting us started. When the actor took over - wow, what an amazing experience!! She kept it engaging throughout, lots of jokes & kept in character (even had witty comebacks for the sassy boys) - awesome! I had a good laugh every time she chimed in! The facility was in immaculate shape from the ornate entrance to the elaborate Dungeon - even customized it for the birthday boy, really thoughtful. Still in complete awe at what a surreal experience it was. Definitely coming back for the other rooms - and I'm not an escape room person. So fun!! Great price too!
Great rooms with even better hosts, the actress for Minerva was perfect, never let her go! I also appreciated the fact that things were not overly labelled and marked with big gaudy black and yellow tape and other distracting elements that take away from immersion.
We did the dungeon one and it was amazing! It was completely immersive and loved the live action actor part! Would heavily recommend! The this in my top 3 favourites, not the most difficult but vibes wise top tier. Truly top tier for families and people new to escape rooms.
