I stopped by this place looking for something a little more unique and different than the usual fast food options. I tried the spicy chicken on flatbread — not exactly sure what the proper name for it was — but it was actually really good. Nice flavor, decent spice, and definitely the highlight of the visit. I also ordered the donair version, and unfortunately that was a completely different story. I took two bites and honestly couldn’t finish it. The meat tasted off to me, almost like rotten goat meat. I hate saying that because the place itself was actually pretty nice, but I ended up throwing it out. One thing I did enjoy was the little glass pop bottles they sell. Those are always cool to see and add a unique touch. I also tried the corn nuts, which had a lighter seasoning on them than usual, but they were still pretty tasty. The restaurant itself was probably the best part of the experience. Great location with lots of parking, a really clean and comfortable setup inside, and I liked how they combined the bakery and restaurant together into one space. It had a unique atmosphere and felt more inviting than most places. Overall, mixed experience for me. Some things were really good, some definitely were not. I probably won’t be back anytime soon, but I can at least say the place had a cool vibe and a few items I enjoyed
The food was perfect we ate most of it before we took pictures of it, we were not able to wait😂 But overall it is the best in Edmonton so far, we ordered manakesh meat, zaatar and cheese, mohamera, and pepperoni and cheese. All of them were super delicious and perfect. We also ordered chicken shawarma wraps. It was perfect as well. It was just like the original middle eastern version because most of the shawerma here has nothing to do with the original. Overall, we enjoyed our meal very much and the staff is very friendly. Definitely not our last time there.
A bright, polished pita bakery and restaurant on 97 Street in north Edmonton, with excellent fresh pita bread, a tasty variety of menu options, warm attentive service, and the kind of stylish yet homey atmosphere and satisfying food that make returning easy. For a fuller picture — Al Huda Pita Bakery & Restaurant, Edmonton, north side / 97 Street offers a fresh, classy space that still feels welcoming and relaxed. The pita is the foundation here — soft, fragrant, and the perfect base for a menu built around comfort, flavour, and freshness. The chicken shawarma wrap was juicy and well seasoned, the kishk was tangy and comforting, and the double-decker cheese with rosemary was rich, aromatic, and especially good with tea. Friendly, quick service adds to the ease of the visit. A strong north Edmonton spot for both flavour and consistency.
Amazing place with very delicious and fresh food. The bread and grilled dishes were excellent, and everything tasted high quality. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. The staff were very kind, respectful, and the service was fast. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
