A real treat for a yummy middle eastern food. The fresh pita and pies are phenomenal 😋 There is good yummy vegetarian options on the menu. The staff are friendly and pleasant but the place is rather dirty. The floors, the tables and the washrooms should be cleaned more frequently.
Still, and always, the undefeated champion of authentic Lebanese breakfast in Edmonton. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and the only thing that changes about this place is that it keeps getting better and better. Just when you think the food can’t get any better, they introduce new items that raise the bar once again. In my opinion, the AGB (Akawi Garlic Butter) pie is excellent. I also recently had the chance to try their Crispy Chicken Shawarma, and they absolutely nailed it. If you’re looking for a breakfast that will keep you full all day, have you talking about it all week, and won’t break the bank, head to Castle Bake. Highly recommended.
We had breakfast at Castle Bake Pita in Edmonton and it was a wonderful experience. The food was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious — perfect for a morning meal. What really made our visit special was Wael. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even offered my wife and me tea in the house, which was such a kind gesture. It made us feel more like guests than customers. Great food, great service, and a very warm atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place for breakfast!
Perfect place for a Sunday brunch. Their flat bread manoushes are excellent. try the garlic Akawi one.
Although the service is great and the food was amazing, I was disappointed by the pricing. The prices listed online and on Google—including their website—are completely outdated and don't match what you are actually charged in-store, with no prior notice. Just a heads-up to double-check before you order!
