40+ years of authentic Indian sweets in south Edmonton. Gulab jamun, jalebi, barfi, rasgulla, samosas, and pakoras from a fully vegetarian kitchen. Two locations in Charlesworth and Cartmell.
Parkash Sweets at Charlesworth is one of the best Indian food spots in Edmonton! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and served with great hospitality. The masala tea was rich and perfectly brewed, and the food tasted just like back home. The real star of the menu is the Tawa Tikki. I honestly haven’t found a tikki like this anywhere else in Edmonton. It’s perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and full of flavor on the inside, and served fresh every time. If you’re a tikki lover, this place is a must visit. Their chole bhature, samosas, and sweets are also excellent. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the quality is consistently outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food in Edmonton!
Stopped by for the first time and it did not disappoint! They have a massive variety of fresh, mouth-watering sweets. I grabbed some fresh, hot pakoras-absolutely perfect for this chilly weather. So yummy! Their beautiful mithai boxes also caught my eye; they’re stunning. If you’re on the South Side, you have to stop by and satisfy that sweet tooth!
Excellent experience at Parkash Sweets! The sweets were fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavor. The staff was friendly and provided great service. The shop was clean and well-organized, with a wide variety of sweets and snacks to choose from. Highly recommend Parkash Sweets for quality products and great customer service. Will definitely visit again!”
Here’s a positive review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Today I visited Parkash Sweets - The Hills at Charlesworth and had a wonderful experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality Indian food and sweets in Edmonton. I look forward to visiting again soon!
Very bad experience at Parkash Sweets. The samosas were made with spoiled potatoes. I had already thrown away one piece before realizing the issue, but I took a picture of another piece to show people what was served. It’s disappointing because we trust these places to provide fresh food, but this is what we received. I hope they improve their quality control and food standards.
