I'm a big fan of banh mi. First time trying this place and I ordered the deluxe banh mi. It was excellent. Lots of fillings, the pate was very good and the baguette fresh. It is a bit pricier than the banh mi shops in Chinatown but it comes across as a more premium offering. Plus it has better parking and it does not have the social challenges of the Chinatown core. I will definitely return to try the other sandwich choices. The only downside today was that they were a bit slow in preparing the sandwich. It took about 20 after ordering for my order to be ready and the store was not busy.
I’m from Calgary, and every time I visit Edmonton, I have to stop by Ăn Vặt Edmonton 🥹💖 Their durian Thai dessert (chè Thái sầu riêng) is sooo fragrant and вкус—it literally tastes just like Vietnam, super rich and creamy. I’m obsessed 😭 And omg…the mini baguettes and salted egg sponge cakes??? 100/10, no debate. SO GOOD. The owner is also the sweetest ever—he gave my boyfriend and me two mini salted egg sponge cakes just because we came from Calgary 🥺 That honestly made my day. I just love the vibe here, everyone is so warm and friendly. This is officially my favorite spot whenever I’m craving Vietnamese snacks in Edmonton 💕 Definitely recommending this place to all my friends, and I’ll 100% keep coming back!!! ✨
First time visiting this little store and we were so impressed! We ordered the salted egg cupcake and the salted egg meatball sandwiches. The sandwiches are honestly the best in Edmonton — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Haven’t tried the cupcake yet, but it looks amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, offering us lots of great options. We love this place and will definitely be back!
Been searching for authentic banh mi and this place did not disappoint. The salted coffee, cold cut banh mi, and egg yolk croissant were all on point with the right amount of sweet and savory intertwined. Will be back to try other options. Would like to see it have a little more seating and cafe style to do work but the vibe is take-out. Anyway, great place to grab a bite .
There on a Saturday afternoon. The Deluxe Vietnamese Sub and Pandan Layer Cake was Tasty! W/C review: 5/5 * cute sign 🤣*
Keep exploring

Edmonton's oldest continuously-operating bakery, since 1946. Cakes, buns, danishes, and old-school treats made the same way for three generations.
